On January 13, we hosted a hybrid meeting for the WASP-HS Research Group seed funding project “Futures With(out) Work: Autonomous Systems and Human Dignity.” The meeting brought together a multidisciplinary group of researchers examining the effects of AI on work and human dignity. Participants represented several Swedish institutions, including Stockholm School of Economics, Lund University, University West, Umeå University, and the University of Gothenburg.
During the full-day event, participants had the opportunity to present past and ongoing research and take part in discussions on autonomous systems and human dignity. The group also discussed and planned next steps to develop the research ideas and apply for additional funding from major Swedish foundations and research councils.
